Kevin is a Paramedic from 100 Mile House and was at our Finals all 3 days volunteering his time.  We had one fall at the gate that had the potential to be serious, Kevin was quick to respond and with his preparation was able to package the injured rider to protect from any further injury and also remove the rider away from the gate which allowed the race to continue.  Without his prior preparation the race could have been delayed for an extended length of time waiting for the Ambulance to arrive.  Kevin was prepared to deal with many health issues from: Major Trauma, Chest Pain, Diabetic Emergencies, Allergic Reactions, Respiratory Problems, to Slivers, Cuts, Burns, eye irritation, etc.

So Thank You Kevin for being there for all competitors and spectators. Your presence was much appreciated.

PINK DAY

On September 1^st I had the privilege of presenting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with a cheque on behalf of the BCBRA.  The grand total was for $1610.00! The response from the membership was overwhelming.  The sea of “Pink” on Saturday was amazing, everywhere you looked there were people and horses in pink.  The effort that the membership made was unbelievable.  Congratulations to Kiara McLean on winning the pink horse blanket that was donating by Amy Pozzabon in memory of her aunt Lynn Mobbs.  I hope that Misty looks great in her new blanket. 

Thank you so much for helping to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
